A Month in the Life of the Portillo Family!

What a HAPPY 22 month old girl! WOW, she is growing so much!
Things that Gabi does and likes right now:
The movie "The Barnyard"
Veggies (mostly green peas and corn)
Loves to color and draw
Knows her numbers from 1 to 15, both in English and Spanish
Knows her letters by sight, most of them
Can wear ponytails in her hair and even can have her hair braided! (It's gotten really LONG)
Likes Mickey's Playhouse, Blue's Clues, and the Backyardigans cartoons
Loves to go OUTSIDE and to the PARK

What a HANDSOME boy ..... young man he has become!
Jackson's 2007-2008 7th Grade School Pictures
I took Jack's pictures this year because I refuse to pay the company who does the pictures a bunch of money for pictures that are ...... alright! So, we went to the park in Lawton, and Mom did them herself! Everyday, Jack wears a uniform to school which consists of a polo with the school's name embroidered on it and khaki pants. On the school picture day, they were instructed to wear jeans and a nice polo. So, that is what we did! I hope you like them.
(These were the last pictures that I took with my good camera before it was stollen out of our home! URGH)

Our Lawton Christian School student

Jack just being a normal teen!

Jack's favorites right now:
The color PINK!
Skateboarding, still!
Playing music on either his trumpet, keyboard, or 1 of his 2 guitars.
Reading skate magazines
Being involved in other activities with school and church

Don't they look WONDERFUL together? Jack is growing so fast and now 13. And then there is Gabi who is almost 22 months here. I can't believe that our children are growing so fast!

And of course, even though this was Jack's day to shine, Gabi had to just hope right in there by being her normal, cute self by playing in the fountain. What almost 2 year old child can resist playing in the water on a hot day?
