Happy Halloween 2007

HAPPY HALLOWEEN from the Portillo Kids!
We had such a GREAT time this year on Halloween! Usually, Jack will stay home and hand out candy while Daddy and I take Gabi around the block. This year, it was the 4 of us out walking around the block, before dark I might add, and what a fun time we had. We laughed and talked and really had a wonderful time. After one trip around the block, we decided to go out to dinner. However, on the way, we stopped at a great friends house and spent alittle time with them! We had a good time visiting and just spending time together. Afterward, we went to dinner at Pizza Hut, again, spending more quality family time together. Gabi was WIRED! Jack was still excited about the day and Mom and Dad, well, we were exhausted! Needless to say, it was a Halloween I don't think any of us will forever forget! Hope you like the pictures!

Little Red Riding Hood and Skateboard Dude

Little Red Riding Hood was not too happy at first about going out for Halloween. We would say to her, "You have to knock on the door and say Trick or Treat." We would ask her to repeat "trick or treat" and she would say, "Where is it?" But after we went to the first house, our neighbors, and they gave her candy, she was all for it! She enjoyed running up there. We would push the stroller into the drive way of the next house and she would hop out, run up to the door, knock, and say "trick treat". And then followed ..... WWWWWOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!! She had a good time!

What a GREAT brother Jack has turned out to be! He always watches out for Gabi and makes sure that she gets too.
Gabi was VERY cute at this house. There were about 5 boys besides Jack who went up to the door. She was in the very back of the group. She kept pushing her way up there saying "Trick Treat" until she was up at the front. Girl Power!

Gabi kept checking out her treats! It was so cute because she would look in her bag and say, "WOW! Ohhhhhh." She is just so smart and adorable!

Beautiful girl!

What a SWEET face you have Little Red Riding Hood!

On a Leah Rachele note:
We had a doctor's apppointment yesterday as well! Leah is doing well, although, she is in a breech position. Her little head is up in my left-side rib cage and her little butt is down in the birth canal area. Silly girl! But the doctor isn't too worried because regardless of her position, I will have a scheduled c-section in the first week in December. She is doing well and is healthy. Dr. Hierigs says she is small but doing well in there. So, lots of prayers for us and for Leah's health! We just want her to be healthy!
