We started the Christmas holiday on Sunday when Jack participated in our church Christmas play. He played a prophet (and musician). He and two of other church members played all of the music for the kids as they sang throughout the play. We were very proud of him!

Typical Jack chatting with friends before the show!

This was NOT Leah's first Christmas. However, it is the first one that she really did very much! heee heeee Last year, she just sat in her bouncy seat looking around, trying to gather as much information about this world as she could. This year, she got to see the wonder and amazement of the true Christmas season. Of course, what would Christmas be without alittle touching of the ornaments on the Christmas tree?

Mommy was SOOOOOO bad this year about our Christmas cookies! I have always been one to make special cookies and all different types of cookies for Christmas. I did make a few cookies for cookies exchanges and gifts but after all that, I was DONE! So, we ....... well, I decided to just get the pre-make Nestle cookies. And you know, they were just as good. The kids enjoyed making them and playing with them too. The fact is that they won't really care where they came from, just that we spent the time to do do them together!

Even Gabi enjoyed putting the preformed squares on the stones! heeee heeee

We attended our church's Christmas Eve service too. What a delight it was to see the church FULL!!!!!!!!!!! And how beautiful it was to see the candlelight on and the lights off in the church. How glorious it was!
Don't the kids look great? This was before church, of course!

We open just 1 present on Christmas Eve night, after church. And the kids get to pick out which present they want. Leah opened the gift that Me-mom and Poppie gave to her and of course, she LOVES the bear! She loves any type of baby or animal! She has such a loving heart!

Buba picked a present that his dad and I gave to him. When we went Christmas shopping for Jack, he would have already had his surgery so we didn't get much active like stuff for him. So, he received alot of clothes this year. But much to MY surprise, he really liked them this time. He actually made a point to tell me that he really liked all of the clothes he got this year. That has NOT always been the case! Heeee heeee

And then there was CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Christmas morning was wonderful! First, Leah AND Gabi both slept through the night! Well, Leah was up at midnight but went back to sleep and slept until 6:30! YIPPY! We got up around 7:30 with everyone to open our gifts! It was lots of fun to watch the kids and their faces. Santa only brings our children one gift each (only if they believe) so those gifts were first! Jack THOUGHT he didn't get one but after he opened ALL of his other presents, we gave him the one that Santa left for him, Guitar Hero. It is a game that he has been wanting for a long time. Anyway, they all had a great time!

Gabi said that Santa was TOO scary so I had to tell him that all she wanted was a candy cane this year. (She heard that from a song on Noggin' and said that I had to tell Santa for her.)

And this year, Leah was REALLY good at opening presents. She proceeded to rip off of the paper off of her presents without much help. She really had a good time!

"Merry Christmas Everyone!" Jack says!

We pray that you all had a wonderful Christmas with your and yours! We love and miss you all every much and are SO thankful for you in our lives! God bless and see you after the new year! (More pictures to come then!)

Sounds like you had a WONDERFUL Christmas! I imagine the scenery is a bit different from the big town of Lawton! Did I tell you we're planning on being in NY in June? I'll have to look up your town on a map to see if we'll be close!
