Surgery and Jackson ...... please pray for him!

This is the first post I've ever put on our blog without a picture but I thought that many of you should know about what is happening with Jackson. If you remember not to long ago, I had written and asked you all for some prayers for Jack and his condition with his chest (pectus excava). About a week and a half ago, Jack was sent home from school early with the instructions from the nurse to take him DIRECTLY to the doctor. He was having problems breathing and the nurse said that she was having a hard time hearing bass tones in his lungs, weezing, and crackling. He also couldn't take any deep breathes. Jack was in a lot of pain too. So, we went straight to the doctor. After listening to him, she instructed us to goto the ER because she was worried that we wouldn't be able to get the results back from the x-rays before the next day and didn't want him to suffer with it. So, we headed for the emergency room. They decided that he was inflamed inside and weren't sure why, sent us home with pain meds, and told us to go to his specialist doctor. I made a telephone call first thing the next morning. At our doctor appointment, we decided that they are going to do surgery to correct this issue with Jack's chest. We were planning on waiting until July so that Jack didn't miss any school. However, we really want Frank to be here when they do his surgery. So, on or around December 15th, Jack will be having surgery to correct his chest. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE say a pray for him, the doctor, and the medical staff who will be helping to fix Jack. Yes, we are nervous and scared but know that God is looking over him. Please continue to pray for him and us.

Thank you so much!

Jackson,
you, and your whole family, are being prayed for, particularly that our Lord would be at work through the meds, work of the doctors and nurses, and the power of God's Spirit in you to bring rightness to your structure and healing to your body and soul. Jack, you're a great young man. I am also praying for God to give peace and remove all fear and anxieties from you, your Mom and Dad, and those little sisters of yours. Hang in there, buddy. I wish y'all well.
